Oh! I certainly have - in fact I played the game competitively for a few years.

And attended several internationals, mainly Australia v India. But also the Worlds played in Melbourne - thank you Ansett Airlines. =D>

What the heck is wrong with Norwich City other than everything? One would have expected them to be ahead of Everton.
I suppose one would, if one also assumed that one knew so little about football that one called it Soccer :-k
I'm Forever TELLING him to stick to his ICE-HOCKEY Statts.....He Just WON'T Listen....
Hockey comes after baseball, Canadian football and university football in my sporting table. Soccer comes somewhere in the middle just like a certain squad in the Premiership that plays out of Goodison Road, not Park. I seem to have a hearing problem when it comes to your instructions, 747.

Statto, will you be making predictions for Saturday's games? I'm particularly interested in the Man U - Toffees game and whether Olly will bounce back from last week.

For my thinking, I reckon Leeds will take it up the wrong 'un from Watford and Newcastle will get a draw.

On paper Leeds have a cracking side .. sadly like their defense the paper has lots of holes and they play so openly theres always gonna be goals .. just at the moment the opposition are scoring more of them than the mighty whites.

Not a Leeds fan (Scunny only) but i do think they are good for the PL .. and after decade upon decade in the footballing wilderness it would be a shame if they went down AGAIN.

Ole needs a decent midfield .. sign Rice , Philips get rid of Mcfred .. crazy how things can change Ole a hero one week and 2 weeks later fans wanting his head over the Villa defeat .. THATS FOOTBALL ..ask Niel Cox

Leeds are 8th favourites with the bookies to go down so, even putting personal bias aside, the experts think we wont.

Personally, I reckon we'll finish lower mid table and reach a cup final.

Excellent. That helps me conclude that soccer is better than ice-hockey. Looking forward to statt's predictions.

Not a bad call Samster .. there are a a few sides considerably worse and less entertaining than Leeds .. Norwich , Burnley n Newcastle to name 3 off the bat .. along with having a reasonable fan base the mighty whites are good to what and the games tend not to be boring.

Probably end up in that 3 or 4 club bracket between relegation and mid table.

Ah, I see you noticed that for the 3rd week in 4 I not only predicted the Toffees result correct but the actual scoreline as well  added to correct calls on the Brentford v Liverpool draw, the Watford v Newcastle draw and Wolves winning away (their first win of the season and Southamptons first defeat of the season)

This week is far more difficult as Man Utd are struggling to beat anyone but although Everton have had good results they have not yet played anyone of importance......

Man Utd 2 Everton 1
Burnley 2 Norwich 0
Chelsea 3 Southampton 0
Leeds 2 Watford 2
Wolves 1 Newcastle 1
Brighton 1 Arsenal 1
Palace 2 - Leicester 1
Spurs 3 Villa 1
West Ham 2 Brentford 1
Liverpool 1 Man C 1

\:D/ Ho, ho, readers, are you enjoying Winter on the Mekong Reviera or do you hanker for a good, old fashioned English Autumn? Send your answers into Udon Map HQ and you could win a night out with Alan and Uncle T watching Everton on the telly. \:D/
You can watch Everton play soccer. I'll be watching the British Columbia Lions play the Toronto Argonauts in football.

I'd like Man City to find the back of their opponent's net a bit more often than that statts.

Noted in the press conf that there are 3 or 4 Leeds players back, which may give them a more structured back line. Ayling however needs surgery and will be out for some time. Raphinha also expected to be fit to start which is a major bonus for them. Bamford out for this week and probably week 8 v Southampton

I just put $5 on Leeds. Leeds aren't paying that much. I see the NZ TAB, in effect, says Newcastle has sweet f ... all chance of winning.
