White pudding?

Post by NickDunning »

Anywhere that sells it in UT? :D

(Yes, I did ask about this quite some time ago, but never got any conclusive answers, and a friend of a friend of a friend on teakdoor says (proper) white pudding is now available in UT).

Seen it in the sliced sausage, black pudding and bacon freezers at C2MU a few months back.

Never seen the white pudding here. I bought some from CTMU but it was like chewing gum.
Went to Gallery for breakfast a few weeks ago and they had black pudding which was very good. Maybe ask for their supplier who might have white.

I had a similar bland experience, and I'd dearly love to have been able to track down the retired Irish butcher in NK before his order books became full & he started turning away new customers.

The Bookhouse & Coffee Shop used to have delicious white pudding, but Jeremy stopped selling it because his supplier kept on jacking the prices up.

I'm due a trip to Vientiane in the not too distant, so I'll try to find the new Vientiane Fresh Meats shop which now goes under a different name. VFM used to sell the real white pudding deal, and it was easy to seal in an airtight, stash under soiled clothes in a day bag, and bring across the border. (Nothing ever woke that sniffer dog up!)
