Well, what can I say.
These guys are the best. Even before I had seen the SS Deluxe that we bought, the service & friendly genuine approach of these guys was AA++.
Doc & Sawitta made it all so easy for us. Delivery and service to say nothing of the BBQ which I believe is fabulous. We cook everything, from Steaks to Seafood.
BBQ is easy to clean & maintain, and the craftsmanship is superb.
I cannot fault anything about these guys and there product.

Cheers Doc, you've got a great product & service to match.

This handcrafted gas fired Pig BBQ was ordered by Stuart Wright for his B&B resort in beautiful Kanchanaburi.
Stuart is also a world traveled fine Silversmith for those of you that may desire the services of such a skilled craftsman.

We began this project by constructing a full size working prototype to insure the 1st production model for Stuart would be spot on. (As seen in the 1st picture setting behind our large SS Master Deluxe)

The only specs we had to begin with was Stuart's request to have a 50cm wide pig fit inside, with a 1 meter long bbqing rack.

We designed and constructed this model so heavy duty motor and all rotisserie accessories could be easily be removed for regular bbqing.

As seen, Stuart also ordered a large stainless holding tray, and a custom stainless sausage holder.

Enjoy….

That pig roaster is impressive. Now that you have the prototype how much to have a second one made with same HD motor.

Hi Bob4you, April 5, 2008

Thanks for the inquiry.

The price of the prototype did not enter in to the end cost as the manufacturer built it at his expense for reference and refinement of the working mechanisms for the first production model, and later orders.
He knows I'm a stickler when it comes to Quality Control.
We special ordered the heat resistant paint primer which takes heat to 600F, and have an ample supply. The silver/black mix finish coat takes up to 800f.
The motor is a brute and turns at 10 RPM, another difficult find, but is available to us now.

This is a time consuming and labor intensive unit to handcraft correctly.

It is not inexpensive, however, it depends on how one looks at it.

Our Pig BBQ/Roaster, price; 55,000B

With steel prices surging, along with across the board increases in overall manufacturing costs, this price may be increased in the near future. We’ll keep the current price as long as possible.

In the picture below is a current price comparison.
This imported counter top, assembly line made, half steel/half stainless barbecue can
be purchased in Bangkok, and shipped to you unassembled in a cardboard box for 59,900 + shipping.
You can see the differences in size, material, labor involved, and price, of our Quik-Fire large Hand Crafted commercial Barbecue/Smoker.

wow, haven't peeked at this thread in a while. congrats, some very nice stuff. keep up the good work. that griddle looks nice, flashback to my childhood, when stoves had griddle in the middle of top burners, then double oven w/broiler underneath, well, at least mom's did. i kept around as long as possible.

now, could you coat everything with teflon, so we can watch our better halves scratch the teflon off.

anyway, some very nice stuff. continued success to you and wife. 8)

Big Mac BBQ w/Rotisserie set-up in pic on page 3

Nice to hear from you again.

Price for rotis set-up & Big Mac BBQ in picture, on page 3;

16,495 - Big Mac
3,300 - Motor & stainless Rotis set-up
19,795 - Total

We recently sold the one in picture to a family in Khon Kaen, our first production model.
I just called them again for the second time to check in and ask how the rig was working out.
Both times they replied they were, very, very happy with it, so it looks like were in biz with that model & rotis.

Thanks again for inquiring.

Our Best,
Doc & Sawitta

More Recent & nice feedback from our Quik-Fire Customers.

Hi guys if anyone is chasing a great BBQ in Thailand, I bought one from a really cool guy in Udon Thani about 3 months ago.
His BBQ are great quality, and will send them anywhere around country, and Doc is a good guy to boot.
http://www.gasbbqthailand.com
I’m an Aussie, and BBQ’s are a part of our culture, it took me a while to find anything decent in Thailand.
Good on ya mate, keep up the good work.
You have a great product there.

Rick – Udon/Lao

Hello Doc

Thanks for the great effort in the workmanship and the timely delivery, you could not have made it more simple!
I have not seen the BBQ yet, but from what Junya has told
me, she could not be more pleased.
I will be sure to recommend you to the other ex-pats in the area and hopefully I can generate some additional business.

Yes, I definitely have hit the jack pot with Junya, no horror stories here, just pure delight!
I have the utmost respect for the people of Thailand and Junya is a shining example of just how wonderful the Thai people are. I am sure you feel the same way and are as equally blessed as I am!
Good luck to you and Sawitta in all that you do!

Thanks
J.M. - Phuket

Hello to all,

We at Quik-Fire are happy to display our first original designed and hand crafted, Counter Top BBQ.
This unit was created for a restaurateur in Hua Hin, measuring 80x80cm, with a 70x50cm bbqing grate.
More than simply a BBQ, it’s a tasteful creation for the eye to behold in stainless steel.
The top is so well balanced; it will stand half open on its own.
Enjoy & take care...

Our best,
Doc
