Re: Charlie Kirk Shooting
This is a shock. I liked his views on diversity, inclusion and equity, and he had an acute ability to show the shallowness and lack of critical thinking of many university students in the U.S.A. It was difficult for me to accept his views on abortion although his answer to the question, 'when does life begin' made sense. I disliked his views on 'God' and Christianity. Surely, we have advanced enough to not fall for those strange beliefs anymore.
In any case, this is sad news. R.I.P. Mr. Kirk.

I for one, am not happy and not sad.
Might be a reflection of my military background, just feel he got what he deserved.
Pls, no blah blah blah about his wife and children.......Kirk wasn't a person who cared about anyone else's wife or children.......at least those that didn't agree with him.

Re: Charlie Kirk Shooting
Even though Charlie didn't believe in it, have some empathy! As to his death, it's an "unfortunate but acceptable cost” of preserving Second Amendment rights (quoting Charlie here)

Best watch it fellas to what your print as there may be some contributors who are ready to pounce.
Regardless, the murdering of children/women no matter in what country, doesn't seem to pull in the hundreds of comments and concerns eg Gaza, the 7 wars The Orange One has halted, Yemin, Nigeria, etc as will the shooting here

only watched him a couple of times so can't really say much. Although he seemed to be good at debating teenagers with green and blue dyed hair and multiple face piercings , im going to have to watch a bit more to see if he ever took on a real debate or just woke kids he debated with. i wonder if the guy who shot him might of been one of those people he debated with. interesting fact, if you create enough hate you become a target, Adolf hitler had 42 attempted assassination's. this is why someone wanted to kill nancy with a hammer and why twice trumps been shot at

Yes, I wondered why some college professors, politicians and adults did not take him on in debates. It was easy enough to make Woke students look silly with questions like 'what is a woman' (the Governor of Minnesota was stumped by that one in Congress), and when does life begin'.papafarang wrote: September 12, 2025, 7:15 am only watched him a couple of times so can't really say much. Re: Charlie Kirk Shooting
On when does life begin.................here's food for thought.
If you freeze a baby it'll die (with current technology). If you freeze an embryo it remains viable.
I'm on the thought, embryos are cells capable of creating life rather than consisting of actual life and being a fairly narrow minded person I'm going with a child's first breath.
IMO (for what it's worth), Human life begins with your 1st breath and ends with your last!!!!
On what is a women..........XX vs XY all the rest is added gravy and who am I to care if a women wants to be called a man or a man wanting to be called a women.

You would think to have people talk with Charlie you would steering away from one place such as Universities where it has lots of Students Why he did that, ???
"Right-wing agitator Charlie Kirk is set to make two stops at Utah universities during an upcoming tour next month — and it’s already spurring outrage among some students."
My guess and it only a guess is that students are much more like to be an influential audience, and you get a much higher response to the subjects at hand.

The answer to your question lies here from CNN, Khun Doodoo.
https://edition.cnn.com/2025/09/10/poli ... related.en
I trust this will help you in your quest for knowledge.
As for Mosquito: I hope most people agree with your comment on women. My objection is when biological males take part in female sports, enter female washrooms and are incarcerated in female prisons. Mr. Kirk also objected to the fact that they try to force the rest of us to use various forms of pronouns to identify them. If they want to dress, act and have an operation to get female parts, who cares? Sometimes, their voice tone and size of their hands and feet give away their gender anyway.
As for when life begins, Mr. Kirk says this at around 4 minutes,

If a guy wants to be called miss or a lady wants to be called mister, I'll generally oblige them out of common courtesy (yea, i might cringe or laugh inside). No skin off my nose.
It definitely doesn't feel any worse than have to call someone you despise "sir'.
Agree with you on sports, but don't see it as a big deal. Just read the NCAA and Olympic policies (NCAA a bit touchy feely for me, but I'm old). Both policies are simple, clear-cut and IMO fair.
A non-issue unless you're a bigoted or far far far left nutjob. Definitely shouldn't be a big political issue (yea, I know it is....the crazy world we live in).
Think about this, over 500,000 NCAA student athletes with under 10 noted transgender student athletes.
Pretty sad when nearly 40% of American voters (imo, but numbers support this) care more about screwing someone else over even if it means screwing themselves (yea, most of them are to stupid to realize they are screwing themselves in the process).

Re: Charlie Kirk Shooting
What happened to Charlie Kirk was unnecessary and indefensible, but his life, or death, is no more important than any other victims of gun deaths. He was a political activist and media personality, his murder is not a "dark day" for the United States, it's a normal occurrence.
He thought some gun deaths were worth it every year in order to have the second Amendment, not sure how his family feels about it now. He didn't believe in empathy for family members of gun murder victims, so I would think he would not expect anyone to show his family empathy now.
What is not being talked about is the school shooting that took place about an hour after this at Evergreen High School in Colorado. A 16-year old shooter, who killed himself, shot at least 2 other children who are still in the hospital.
Again, not a dark day in the U.S., it's just another ordinary day.

Re: Charlie Kirk Shooting
I have followed Charlie Kirk for years and watched one of his podcasts or uni campus events most every day. He was an intellectual and had one of the brightest and sharpest minds on the planet. The reason so many young people hated him was because they couldn't win a debate against him. He made all the progressive liberals look like the fools that they are when they got up in front of him in a public space.
I am astonished at some of the snide remarks about him here on the forum. I'm willing to bet that most all, if not all, of the posters haven't a clue who he really is and have really never followed his content. How is it that you even feel the liberty to opine on someone with whom you barely have a passing familiarity. If someone asked me what I think of AI for example, unless I knew what I was talking about, I would simply keep my mouth shut; otherwise, come across as a fool.
Charlie Kirk was consistent in what he believed because his views were filtered through a “conservative Christian” world view. The root of his battles from day to day weren’t just differences in opinion, but they were verbal spiritual battles being waged with people who hate God and want to keep HIM and HIS biblical principles for life out of the debate. They see issues such as DEI, abortion, LGBT+, Critical Race Theory and the like through a satanic lens, and their views can never stand up against the authority of God’s Word. If Kirk’s extreme right-wing views offend you, then it stands to reason that you would be offended by Jesus Christ. HE was indeed an extreme radical right-wing conservative in HIS days on the earth. All of the left leaning sinners hated HIM back then, and they hate HIM to this day.
As of this writing, law enforcement has yet to announce the identity of the assassin; however, there is a post circulating on the web wherein a member of the public has made a match with one certain “tranny” who debated Kirk in a campus event. Kirk demolished his arguments, and the poor thing lost his “face” in front of hundreds of his uni peers. I remember that debate well. The only way he knew how to retaliate was to silence Kirk once and for all. It’s the only tactic that works for them, and I expect that we will see more and more of that kind of behavior. It just comes natural for the Godless who identify with the Socialist/Communist Progressives and a good number from the Democratic Party.
And lastly, for those who actually believe that Kirk could only win debates against ignorant green haired, tattooed uni kids, you may want to watch him debate 300 people at Oxford University in Oxford, England. He put them all to shame.

Colossians 2:8-10...See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, which are based on human tradition and the spiritual forces of the world rather than on Christ. For in HIM dwells all the fullness of the GODHEAD bodily; and you are complete in HIM, who is the head of all principality and power.
