We tried to but some But, they couldn't find out what the price was so we bought frozen instead. First day foul ups pretty normal for an opening day

We went today....noonish. Lots of customers and lots of people buying things. Seems to be a big step up from the Landmark store.....but we'll see what happens in a month or three.
I didn't see any cast iron frying pans there........but asked the manager and she said she'd check.

also went today around 12:30 to check out the new Villa Market.. Clean neat, good aisle space, lots of helpful staff.. Same high prices on imports (and some ridiculously priced local goods) but there were some good deals too.. Oh, and plenty of parking outside in the new lot.. We only had to walk about 50 feet! Considering it was a Saturday on a holiday weekend, no problems...

My wife and I stopped around noonish today. Plenty of parking available. Hours: 10-10.
Well laid out grocery store.
The lasagne, and other hot ready-to-eat foods, are all cooked by The Wine Society Restaurant, which should give you an idea of their quality. Both Thai and Western food available. Also hot ready-to-eat soups (both Thai and Western), again cooked by The Wine Society Restaurant. Western food: 30 baht per serving. Thai food 25 baht per serving.
Plus, no annoying and loud background music being played :D .

hey i'm a bit confused here, firstly about 100g lasagna ? a normal portion should be about 200g, I understand Thai's are nibblers so maybe aimed at them ? plus I know villa's mark up rates for local producers. are they in foil containers ?
just seems remarkable that it can be produced so cheaply. i mean pork /cream/cheese are not cheap . but saying that if it's good and cheap, enjoy ..happy days

Papafarang are spot on,i agree.

But for some reason customers don't seem to know much about cooking in general.First of Mr.Hippo...We at Nok Restaurant DO NOT make PORK Lasanga..you get that.I get VERY upset when people like you Hippo think you know wjat's in OUR Lasanga..you don't.Beef,Italian Sausage (that's the porky bit)then FRESH herbs + dryed herbs..Same goes for the Bolognese..So PLEASE Mr.Hippo...do NOT write about something you think you know.We have been doing great tasty food for 8 years now..real Lasagna Bolognese nobody "around" make..because i haven't been to our Resturant..Welcome brother Hippo..
