Almost every day something new is added to the list of "inappropriate" and no one seems to know where originated.
However, it is now law and God help you if you even suggest those "words".
Latest one from the Northern Territory was given credit for being "clever" but....wait for it......."inappropriate".
https://ntunofficial.com/products/cu- ... ler-pack
Bit like the old Ford Truck one.......last I heard , someone (again that someone) tried to have it banned when they (there "they" are again) had to follow a vehicle for a few miles on the highway and ( another ***** comment) found it "offensive". Guess they never thought to pull over for a minute or so.
Really, just curious where "they" come from and how come "they" wield so much clout.
Aaand here is the first for today .....https://www.msn.com/en-au/sport/afl/bea ... ilsignout

Bloody hell.
Surely life in Oz is now way better for the majority of Australians than what it was decades ago. Aussies are supposed to be full of themselves and cheerful chaps. Have you guys been hanging out too much with ex-pats from other countries?

Re: What happened to Australia ?
Yes I guess it depends on who you ask doesn't it GT? A bunch of blokes who no longer live in Australia, for a variety of reasons, are hardly going to give a glowing reference to their ex home.
Before my Mrs came to live in Australia she was working in a sweat shop in Lopburi earning 10b per shirt (the Chinese boss charged her 2b per shirt to use his electricity so 8b) that she sewed the seams onto. Now as a cleaner earning weekend penalty rates she makes $43.00 (900b) an hour on Sundays cleaning hotel rooms in Melbourne. When we moved back to Australia the plan was to stay long enough to save enough money to retire in LOS but now if it wasn't for family she would never go back even for holidays. All about perspective ey? Glass half full or half empty?
So it's still the lucky country if you are from a third world sh1thole, which is I suppose why we are swamped with people wanting to get a piece of the pie and live out the great Australian dream.

Re: What happened to Australia ?
So fast forward 10 years and what will be considered as "Inappropriate" by Others? in the New Australia
1.Half the Australian language will have disappeared or be outlawed. All our Books will have been re-written, in some new politically correct language which only the next generation will understand
2. The moment you say a word in Public, some slimy "Objectionist" will jump out of the shadows, snap a picture/video of your lips moving on his/hers I Phone and then drag you off into some Court claiming that you are a Racist or Misogynist or Fascist.
3.Jury's will consist only of Women, mandated by some Equal Opportunity/Gender Equality Legislation, based on the Swedish Quota System. If you speak out against this system, you will be labeled a Misogynist with a minimum 10 years jail sentence. , found guilty by that same Jury - Another 2 Years on Probation Period if you speak out or object or wink at the Jurist
4. Victoria Secrets fashion line will be banned, as will all their images and video's on U Tube. All the poor models will be out of work and unemployed . What a sad day that will be - 3 Years jail if you are caught Ogling at their Videos in your own private home.
5. Tina Turner will not be allowed to do her NRL Rugby Video Remake of "Simply the Best" with Andrew Eettingshausen, when she walked through the infamous Change Room - 5 years jail if she tries to shoot that Video again
6. Jimmy Maher will be sentenced to 12 years with non parole, if he repeats what he said on the Brisbane Footy Show back in 1995 after the Queensland Sheffield Shield Cricket win, with Peter Sterling and Fatty Vautin. Loved every word of it and then fell off my chair in hysterics at the time. I notice that it has been removed from U Tube
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjZzN_mXuBc Watch the clip at the end
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ql_9mZHNoMQ
7. AC/DC will be banned in all forms, Music/Videos/t Shirts, like George Thorogood in some countries - Life imprisonment if you are deemed to consider Aca Daca to be an Icon What a sad day this will be
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7VsoxT_FUY
Just a few of the changes that I see coming, to what was once a proud, open and free society. But it won't worry me a F...k, because I will be living in a place far away from the "Future Politically correct environment of Australia.
No, that is not in Soi 4 Nana

Re: What happened to Australia ?
Yes him too.
But I liked Carl (The Enforcer) because he didn't kick the Ball
I wasn't born to see this guy play, but I think it would have been a spectacle (Alias Captain Blood). The names they gave these guys were unique to our (the Australian) Sport.
It's a Sport no other Country will ever own or ever be able to copy. and few outside of Australia will ever be able to understand that.
This is what we are slowly losing

Re: What happened to Australia ?
We seem to be getting closer to answering saint's question - it's all about the (real) footy season starting tomorrow.
For those who may have forgotten.

Re: What happened to Australia ?
AFL, those who play it and those who follow it, is but one constant in the Australian Culture, at this timejackspratt wrote: ↑March 20, 2019, 4:34 pmWe seem to be getting closer to answering saint's question - it's all about the (real) footy season starting tomorrow.

There will come a day when some suggest its is from a Racist past or claim does not represent the so called "All Australians", and they want this banned too.
Hopefully that will come long after I am in the ground
