It does disappoint me when I see so much American bashing, Britain is more closely aligned culturally to the US than to just about any other country, we have been brothers in arms in two world wars and have nearly always enjoyed a special relationship. My guess is that certain factors are emerging that will drive us together again, in truth I don’t see NK as the biggest threat to our civilisation, I see it rather as a tide of Liberalism, the growth of a culture that won’t accept any other and I think we will need to face up to this problem, TOGETHER. Finally, I would much rather be the 51st state than a part of a bloc where we lose our right to be free and independent.

The black football heroes are protesting police brutality and unfair treatment of blacks. No sure what your point was jai yen yen. Because they are black and wealthy, they cannot try and bring attention to an injustice. Sounds a little racist to me. And Canada is becoming more anti-immigrant....would you not say.

The stakes have never been higher, our cultures, religions and way of lives are being eroded by an almost unseen enemy that so many people seem quite happy to appease, they allow them to creep into the very roots of our societies, at least there was a front where we knew we could face our enemy during the World Wars. We are facing the complete annihilation of everything we hold dear but I hope and pray that at some point people will wake up, there are signs of it happening in Europe, Austria has just had a huge vote, and I thing the ball will roll much faster in the coming 5 years with the renewed European elections. As I said, the US, UK and it’s allies will need each other again, I fear it might already be too late for France and Germany.

Sorry, culturally Britain and the US are quite different. Britain has universal health care (compassion) for its citizens and tough gun laws. Britain is more Socialist, and the Americans can't stand that word, and what it stands for. Right. So worlds apart really.
