I think this will be the last post .

Today we transferred the money over to my account and we got more than a few strange looks, Thai woman transferring to Falang!!!!!

So that’s it folks life goes on Its just a subject that will be left in the past.

I stand by position to keep half and give away to worthy things.

To the poster who said’’ if the temple or charities knew where it come from they might not want it or something to that affect’’ Open your eyes mate what about the donations from police or politicians and the general corruption that blights this country do you think it doesn’t flow down stream in to their coffers.

I think their moto would be ’’ Ask no questions get no lies’’

Thanks for the positive and constructive points of view

But after reading some comments maybe ive touched a nerve here but if I could go back to when I found out I probably would say ‘’nice work darling lets get the bags packed for a wee trip to Hong Kong sod it its Dog eat Dog as they say.

Regards
Stevie

In the context it is written 'BITCH' was appropriate. she obviously is 'a malicious, unpleasant, selfish person', so what word would jackspratt , a.k.a. Judge Dredd, have used. Over to you, although you have sent this thread a little off topic.

I guess someone with a poor vocabulary, matched with a very limited imagination, may feel the choice of word appropriate. :-"

No, what word would YOU have used in the same context, then people who you deem to be of limited intelligence and vocabulary skills may learn.

Given that the context seems to be entirely hypothetical, I don't see the need to use any word.

I hear you Aardvark, we all have our stories and Indeed I was labelled a troll when i came on here first. Having said that there has been alot of trolls on here in the past and I understand why people get upset especially when its someones first post. I do think StevieR is legit though as Ive heard similar stories in the past. This is like an unfolding novel and I cant wait to find out what happens!

I don`t really care if story is true or not. I´ve experienced, heard and read about far worse, long before I came to this country. Still pondering the question in the header. What would I have done? Given there are children involved, it`s a hard one for me. But some things are clear. The foundation for a relationship is trust. In this case I doubt that I would ever trust this woman again. The explanation she gave with inlaws present is not nesessarily true. It`s just convenient. Remember the ´or else´ before they got involved. What would I do in a similar situation? I would pull my walking boots out of the closet and give them a good shine, and make sure she`ll see it, then put them back in again. Good luck

Ho hum, some of you guys must by related to our fruit loop of an Australian politician who is attempting to quash all sport on the ABC Asia satellite feeds and promote culture in the form of the 16th repeat of "Mums and Daughters", "Days of Our Lives", "Coronation Street", "Lassie" and any other bit of rubbish he can find!

While I have monitored this post with some degree of scepticism, I do make a comment which reinforces the comment of TRUST. Any good relationship does in main rely on trust, Stevie R must be taking a lot on words, with little trust, but then it is his wife and one presumes he must trust her. personally I wopuld have gone by now.

With a short comment on the 'B' word, the society I enjoyed and lived does not use it, I have no idea about others but use of that word is discouraged as with many other words, unlike on the other side of the pond where swearing is the norm , I remain always a gentleman in the presence of women however they may speak. The use of that word is demeaning, whether they deserve it or not. You should always be able to use a word that is not considered a swear word.

Nuff said on that subject and this post in fact

to StevieR,

It's a pity really we won't hear any further developments of what's happening around your village, but I do understand how some replies here make you decide to call it a day.

I disagree with sending half of the money back to the idiot sending 40k/month.

I also understand your wife to keep this little source of revenue for herself.

Now what I would have done discovering this scam is to require the ongoing funds to be used for monthly expenses.
I do not spend 40k/month on cost of living here. Thus all would benefit, also the Swedish guy, by ignoring the scam :D
