i always preferred Boxing day, nice breakfast, off to the pub home for more food and usually a football match on the tv,wake up slobbering on the sofa then shower and down the pub again, remember ''a pub is for life not christmas day''

Re: Xmas dinner
For those whom don't need to eat turkey the Phoenix Bistro sponsor sure has a very simple but delicious looking xmas meal.
My mum always had roast pork, roast chook and vege's no matter how hot is was in Sydney.
And a leg of ham was always there which would last a couple of weeks for breakfast, lunch and tea snacks.
But I always had the 2 or 3 Kg's of tiger prawns for backup.
A family Xmas day I do miss. Watching the kids wake up and rip the wrapping off there presents, then into the car to visit relo's and their families to give presents and see what else their gremlins got.
All the while sucking on a tinnie of what ever was provided by the inlaws .
Sleep by late afternoon.
Then preparing for the 1st ball of play in the boxing day test.
Sure miss those times.
Merry Christmas everyone.
