Searched locally for about two months a couple of years back. No success. Ended up interred in the back yard. The only one I know of is about 20 minutes north of Pattaya but you can't send dead animals by post or courier. Probably there's some others elsewhere too but hard to find.

Dog cremation service .... that's an idea. Can do in my rice field, you provide the wood and a monk, i have a lighter. Only 2,000 baht.

A couple of years back, as I pursued the DIY option, I came across a specially deisgned incinerator for pet cremations. Basically a scaled-down version of the ones used at regular crematoriums. I think it was a German design and I recall the cost, including shipping and import duty as being something that could probably be recovered by a formal, dedicated pet crematorium. It got me to thinking about something too keep me busy plus retirement funding (yes, I know retired foreigners aren't allowed, etc.).

Just waiting for delivery now. Coming from China.

Lazada is truly AMAZING, eh?

As a dog lover must admit disappointed with the responses you've received but expected from Tam who seems to revel in shocking people.

Dear Shocked in Tenghiz,

I already posted my experience of being unable to find anywhere local that was willing and able to cremate our beloved mutt when she shuffled off her mortal coil (thanks to an idiot driver on their mobile phone). I did offer the location of a place by the sea that does "hot dogs" that I have used twice already. I have two wee urns on my bookcase and I wanted dearly that there be three as they were all doggy pals, but unfortunately I needed the freezer space so into the ground she went.

Now I see that rick already offered a rather "irreverent" suggestion, but that was somehow missed in your wet hankie clutching missive. Were you hae'in a wee greet then?

Regarding "...before someone wipes that smile permanently..." insert shaking in my boots emoji [here]

Sincerely,
