But keep in mind that DM hasn't had his annual shower yet...

My anal bathing ritual will not effect the dam level Tam .. as during the rainy season i wait for a downpour, strip off and take my Protex shower soap for real men and bath in my garden thus having no effect on nature , the ozone or my wallet for utilities.. i did need to call ambulance for the old Thai lady next door when she fell off her step ladder whilst perving at me.
Hope that helps.

Back on topic ..im sure the dam level will increase considerably this month going by last nights storm and todays regular very heavy showers

As last year but two weeks ahead of schedule, Preparing our Life Raft, moving Pickup/Motorcycle and Electrical gadgets to higher ground.
Waiting for them to open the Flood Gates on the Dam exit to the Huai Luang River.
The River Banks held up last year but history tells us we could be under water if this wet spell continues.

On the bright side BRD it will drown all the ants ...the ones that cant swim that is and/or dont have access to a small boat or inflatable life raft .

It's funny you should mention "Ants" DM, the little shits have just noticed that amongst all the damp paddy fields there's a little oasis of dry land and food a plenty.
I can see the Borax may have to come out of storage.
I've tried drowning them before but they just keep walking through it, must have Gills or Snorkels.

Went for a 50km ride this morning into the boonies - there was run-off water and huge puddles everywhere. Been a pretty productive wet season so far according to my unscientific observations.

Perhaps the Dero could pop in with his rain gauge readings so far, and compare to previous years.

Did she fall on her binoculars?

this site says we've had 284mm thus far this month. That's the normal monthly accumulation. Two more weeks to go.... https://en.climate-data.org/asia/thaila ... ptember-9/

A big floodgate at Ban Khok Sa-at. Canal runs through Hwak Wah village and then through North-East to Udon.
I had a bumper sticker in Texas that read 'Beam me up Scotty'. I often wish I could find one in Udon Thani
