Toby Keith RIP

Post by tamada » February 7, 2024, 1:30 am

Sadly, last Monday, the Oklahoma-born country & western music legend, Toby Keith, finally succumbed to a long struggle with stomach cancer. He was 62.

I was introduced to his music when his 2003 hit, "I love this bar" was the only C&W tune permitted to be played at the Tahitian Queen gogo bar on Pattaya beach. Bob, the bar owner, considered the range of customers, their proclivities and behaviors captured in Toby's words, mirrored those of many of the 'regulars' of the 'TQ'.

RIP Toby.

Toby Keith, a true American patriot. Agree with you Mak, a great supporter of US troops and the military in general. Loved his music and his kind will be surely missed. R.I.P, Toby Keith.
