Re: The dumb lawyer defense
The 146 million dollar judgement against Rudy is ludicrous, absolutely crazy. That was all for accusing election workers of corruption.
Re: The dumb lawyer defense
Indeed, it seems like silly money, but maybe it's because it's linked to the alleged sedition of one of his clients.

The next step for Rudy, at least that is Whistler's prediction, is for him to turn against Trump. Let's hope this time Whistler's prediction comes true.
You only pass through this life once, you don't come back for an encore.

Predicted Biden would beat Trump by about 70 collegiate votes.
Predicted Anthony Albanese would become PM of Australia
Predicted the Voice referendum in Australia will fail
Predicted that many of Trumps erstwhile supporters would turn on him
so far, track record is OK.
As for Rudy, he has now gone so far, there is not much of an incentive to do so, The Georgia case has enough roll overs and may not want anymore. If he does do a Mea Culpa, it will be for a reduced sentance, and just maybe to salvage some dignity. As it is he is toast already.

Re: The dumb lawyer defense
If Trump is elected, he can pardon Rudy for Federal crimes but not state crimes. I wouldn't be surprised if he did. But Trump cannot help Rudy with regard to state criminal prosecutions, and all civil verdicts (like the $140 million), regardless of whether state or Federal.Whistler wrote: ↑December 30, 2023, 1:33 pmAs for Rudy, he has now gone so far, there is not much of an incentive to do so, The Georgia case has enough roll overs and may not want anymore. I agree with the state/federeal. But isn't this moot as the earliest Trump could assume office is January 2025, the Georgia case will be done and dusted by then. Rudy must be tearing his black died hair out, an idiot, but I cannot help but feel a bit sorry for him, he has gone from rooster to feather duster.

Trump does nothing without it benefiting him in some way. He'd probably ignore Giuliani. Let's face it, Trump isn't known for downward loyalty...
