an individual has been diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer and began treatment on Monday, Buckingham Palace has said.

Charles has returned to London to receive a “schedule of regular treatments” as an outpatient, the Palace said. He has been advised by doctors to postpone his public-facing duties but will continue state business. Prostate cancer has been ruled out.

"individual Charles Diagnosed With Cancer, Buckingham Palace Confirms"

"individual Charles III has been diagnosed with cancer. Buckingham Palace confirmed the tragic diagnosis on Monday without specifying how advanced the disease is, or what type of cancer he was diagnosed with. It was determined during individual Charles’ recent hospitalization for a separate procedure.

"During an individual’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted," the palace said in a statement to NBC. "Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer."

I know that most all cancers are a matter of urgent concern and yes, he is a k1ng but this fast-track for treatment suggests pancreatic. From personal experience, pancreatic cancer does need ultra-fast intervention.

"In the most recent data for England, for September 2022, the NHS only met the 62-day standard for 60% of patients, well below the target of 85%, and the second worst performance on record. That means that around 6,000 people who started cancer treatment in September waited longer than 62 days."

Pretty shocking statistics but I seriously doubt Charles will he in any queue. A lot of folks, fed up with the appalling NHS service, bite the bullet, set up a gofundme page and go private.

The UK's "NHS is unfit for purpose" thread is over there ---->
