Jailed Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny dead at 47, region's prison service says

Jailed Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has died, the prison service of the Yamalo-Nenets region where he has been serving his sentence said on Friday.

Mr Navalny, one of the most vocal critics of Russian President Vladimir Putin, had been in prison since February 2021.

Late last year, he was moved to a penal colony in the Arctic Circle.

Russian state news agency TASS reported that Putin had been told of Mr Navalny's death.

In a statement, the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District said Mr Navalny "felt unwell" after a walk on Friday, and "almost immediately lost consciousness"......

Putin is the only leader of the world standing up for his people, protecting Russian culture against the invaders that have taken over the western world.. Most EU countries are being invaded by people coming from 3rd world s-hole countries who fail to assimilate into the new countries.

Yes, and posted without any pro-Putin comment too.

Your disappointment is palpable.

Anyhoo, to paraphrase Jerry Maguire, "Show me the poison!"

You are right of course Tony - every one of those invaded western democracies needs a murderous dictator to get the trains running on time.

Speaking of invaders makes me think of Ukraine ........

A large dose of QAnon and 4Chan if his posting history is anything to go by.

And also appropriated the Spanish flag - perhaps that is a nod to Franco, another murderous dictator.

With all due respect, how can you overlook the leaders of China? They too are doing a wonderful job of keeping their country lily white clean and upholding their culture much better than EU countries, the U.S.A., Canada, New Zealand and Australia.

Biden calling for more sanctions on Russia after the death of Navalny. At the same time, he tells Iran not to interfere in other middle eastern countries politics.

Where's the hypocrisy thread again?

Slight difference Tam, Biden has not arrested, sent to a Gulag and allegedly murdered Trump.(Much as he deserves it) Must be wonderful living in these utopian Socialist/Muslim Nations.

Slight difference Tam ...
Calling for economic isolation of a nation that executes political opposition and admonishing a different nation to stop arming foreign terrorist organizations--I think Mr. Biden is well withing bounds doing both these things. Tam calling it hypocrisy is just galaxy brain silliness. Maybe he's angling for a spot on Rogan's show.

What's hypocritic about these two, both seem reasonable to me.

How Putin handles Navalny and Russian internal dissent is Russia's own business. Not America's.

Sanctions and embargoes only hurt the little people.

How the Ayatollahs handle Israel and Iranian internal dissent is Iran's own business. Not America's.

Sanctions and embargoes only hurt the little people.

Of course, the Pinochet's, the Pahlavi's, the Batista's and the Diem's may have chosen to say otherwise.

Of course Biden hasn't done that. What a preposterous suggestion. You call that an argument?

Anyway, looks like I've gone and done it again and pushed someone's big, red Commie/Muslim button again.

Well of course you would think that foreign interference is the right and proper thing to do. You would, wouldn't you? I mean it has worked so well in the past hasn't it? The "as I say, not as I do" of US foreign policy strikes again.

Those that know me (and that's neither of you two), know I don't subscribe to Rogan nor do I indulge in marijuana.

Now, back on topic.

Okay Tam, what do YOU think Biden should do. Just stay quiet and let Poo Tin lord it over the Western World?
The man is a maniac.
Just imagine, Trump and Putin in power and both kissing Xi's arse.

You'll find a number of them scattered throughout the Forum.

With your name (and mine probably) popping up in various of them.

I think it is time to sh*t or get off the pot. Unilateral action. Cease with the long-distance proxy war nonsense and do what's needed to stop this farcical 'new world order' crapola. Nuke and pave. Give Russia and China a proper bloody nose and you'll see all these pathetic BRICS and pricks getting back in line.

Oh wait... he's a dopey old Democrat with a dim bulb VP.

Never mind.
