van with driver to Vientiane for 2-3 day trip? Looking for a rental van with driver that has purple book/Lao insurance that can drive 6-9 people from Udon into Vientiane for a 2-3 day stay.. Phone number/website/FB if available..

Years ago, I used a Vientiane tour company for a couple of family trips to Vientiane. They sent a Lao minivan and driver over, came to the house, took us to the hotel In Vientiane, did some sightseeing over the next couple of days and brought us back home. Sorry, but I don't recall the company or the cost. One of the benefits was the amount of booze we brought back (French wine and Beer Lao). The driver said no problem, just leave it in the van when you go to clear immigration. It was all still intact when he picked us up on the other side. No duty, nada. Maybe they are stricter now, but it was a reason we did it a second time.
